FFDShow is an open source DirectShow and VFW codec for decoding/encoding many video and audio formats, including DivX, XviD and h.264 movies using libavcodec, and other open source libraries with a rich set of postprocessing filters.
FFDShow is included in the CCCP for the purpose of having a single application doing the job of many. Today CCCP uses the improved ffdshow-tryouts.
