cccp for tablet

i am wondering if there's any plan on making a cccp on maybe a window 8 tablet?

If you get one of the Windows 8 tablets that uses Intel chips you can just download CCCP and run it as you would any other Intel/AMD computer. I would think ARM (Windows 8-R I think is the name) tablets are another story and would require a decent amount of work if it's even possible (although they are apps for android so I guess its not impossible). Perhaps someone with better technical knowledge could give you a better answer.

found out the out the one with intel comes out on January 2013 but am hopeing someone could test it out and see if it works.... if it works i would buy one for myself :)

That would really a great! If ever they make windows8, I will buy many as I have budget.

After the UI rewrite for MPC-HC gets done, I see it very possible that we, or someone else, might help them with creating a skin that matches touchscreen usage better. WinRT is out of scope as that pretty much would mean that a whole another system (Media Foundation) and completely different APIs (no MFC and friends) would have to be used. Oh, and you can't put GPL onto the Windows market, only LGPL as far as I remember.

In other words, this could be possible if or when MPC-HC gets more usable with touchscreens, and only for normal x86 Windows tablets :)
