You mention flash, so maybe...

Download this file:
http://www.mediafire.com/?81xibr0xkyme7ie

Make sure that that there is no sound when you try play a video in MPC-HC.

Open the above file in MPC-HC and while it is open, click the speaker icon in MPC-HC to mute and then again to unmute and make sure the volume slider in MPC-HC is at max. Now, try play a video and see if sound comes back.

When asking for help, please do the following:
1. Open the video in MPC-HC and tell me what items are listed in the menu: 'Play-> Filters.'
Download the CCCP Insurgent and:
2. Tools > Media Information > "problem file"
3. Tools > Test Render > "problem file"
4. Tools > CRC Check > "problem file"
5. File > Save Log
6. Open the log you just saved in Notepad and copy the entire contents into your next post.

already saw and did that with no positive results.
Oh I think I see format is coming ;)

Edit: I reconfigured the ports the device uses through lealtek's sound management and it works. Weird....
But I do see a format closing even faster now... request Moderator to delete my thread as there's nothing useful in it.

Ps3 Thank you for your assistance Namaiki.

Many thanks to Namaiki !
Indeed, there is a problem if you activated "mute" when Media Player Classic was playing a Shockwave Flash file (*.swf). In this case, the solution of Namaiki works.

I suppose it's a bug in Media Player Classic ! I tested it and here is the result :

- To reproduce the bug :

Open any *.swf with MPC.
Activate "mute" (press speaker button) or put the volume at 0%.
Close MPC.

Open any video or *.mp3 with MPC.
You can try to deactivate "mute" and increase the volume, the sound will stay cut off.

- To fix the problem :

Open any *.swf with MPC.
Make sure "mute" is deactivated and the volume is higher than 0%.
Close MPC.

Open any video or *.mp3 with MPC.
The sound works again. (If you don't put the volume at 100% at the previous step, you could have to increase the volume for MPC in the Volume Mixer of Windows 7.)

When I wanted to report the bug to the MPC team, I found that it was already reported : https://trac.mpc-hc.org/ticket/2852
