Hey I recently installed the cccp codec pack and it allowed me to watch a few files that didn't previously work in windows media player.

but it also seems to have messed up something with .VOB dvd burn files, which used to work fine but now just opens a green screen in media player (with audio working).

Any solutions to this?

Try unregister the following if you don't use it:

Otherwise, try open settings for that and disable anything related to DXVA or hardware acceleration in it.
You should be able to open it's settings if you add it into the External Filters list in MPC-HC and double click on it.

I added it to ecternal filters and got the settings but the hradware acceleration was not ticked and couldnt see anything DXVA.

Don't know how to "unregister" it.

Also noticed videos on web pages (ie. youtube) are also giving just a green screen now.

CCCP doesn't have anything to do with videos on YouTube, so it might be best if you try uninstall/reinstall your computer's graphics drivers.

Yeah installed latest version of driver and no change, i'll try uninstalling cccp a bit later.

Uninstalling cccp didnt work..... what a #$%% pain.
