Videos playing wierd
« on: November 15, 2008, 01:54:51 AM »

So, when i updated my graphics card driver to the latest one so now this all started to happen. when i play videos they have all weird pixel type thingies in them like this (when playing .mkv and .avi files).

I've tried rolling back my driver, uninstalling and reinstalling my graphics card, uninstalling and reinstalling CCCP and after rolling back my driver i re-updated it and when i played back a file it was fine but after it finished when i tried to play back a file it had those pixel things again anyways could anyone help me those pixel things are really starting to get on my nerve..

thanks in advance.

Edit: I just found out when i lowered the hardware acceleration it seemed to have gone although the quality of the video has decreased

i found out the problem its cuz of directdraw when i disable directdraw it works properly but the thing is i'm a quality junkie so i need some way that the quality could remain as good or better if i had directdraw hardware acceleration on.

First of all, how did you take that shot? And did you try resetting the settings for CCCP?

So far it indeed looks like video hardware or driver borkage, are you overclocking by any chance? Also check the temperatures.

Try asking whoever made the drivers and/or the overclocking tool.
