Are you certain you've played the exact same file on your previous display and didn't notice such issue? As it certainly shouldn't have much to do with it, besides the scaling possibly making it less apparent.
And if you've hit a CoreAVC bug, there is nothing that we can do about it.

Hello everyone! New problem was discovered when i switched from 19" 1280x1024 (5:4) to 24" 1920x1080 (16:9) screen. The problem is that when you play almost any video strange vertical lines appear in some frames. Here's an example of what i'm talking about:
1) WITH CoreAVC
2) W/O CoreAVC

I did some research and found that turning off CoreAVC and switching to CCCP's native decoder (ffdshow) solves the problem. I still want to use CoreAVC though. Any suggestions what should i change in CoreAVC/MPC options? Any help would be appreciated.
ps.

Could be just the usual case of a slow CPU, you can't do too much about MS stuff anyway, but do check the CPU usage. Also paste the output pin (the one that connects to the renderer) info of the video decoder there with both renderers during playback from the Play/Filters menu of mpc-hc.

If you really want you could try enabling the decoding in ffdshow video decoder, but keep in mind that it might bork randomly.

Hi, I've got a problem with HD WMV files when I use the Haali Renderer. When they start playing, they are okay, but as the video progresses, the video starts to lag behind the audio a little. It's not even a one second lag, but it's enough to notice it. It doesn't do it with the Overlay Mixer, only Haali, and it only does it with HD WMV files. I've tried normal WMV files, 1080p MKV files, 720p MP4 files, they all word flawlessly. Because of that, I find this problem very weird. I'm using Media Player Classis by the way. Does anyone know what causes this and if there's a solution?

Here's some info and a problematic video that serves as example:

Seriously the one that was never supposed to be installed and is basically just for museums?
Or just the over-bloated one.

Yes, I cannot make any claims what those insane versions may result in.

Close enough I guess. If you cannot find a more recent driver from Intel then try in a 32 bit mode at least.

And do you remember which "variant" it was?
"Mega" or less likely 'full' one.

I think this is a case of correlation vs. causality.

FWIW, sounds like a missing video card driver though.
Seconded.

For step 0 do you mean play the video and just post what i get when i click on everything under "filter"?
You don't "click" anything under it, just list the items you can see there.
